The Singing Dancer
Vocal Technique built for bodies that move.
This 6-week intensive is designed specifically for NYC dancers who nail their dance calls but struggle when it comes to singing in the audition room. If you’ve ever felt gripping in your voice that won’t let go, lost confidence under pressure, or just wished your vocal technique could be as strong as your dance, this course is for you.
In a small cohort of just 4 students, we’ll dig into foundational vocal exercises that build flexibility, strength, and stamina in your voice, all integrated with the movement and breath strategies you already rely on as a dancer.
Over 2-hour weekly sessions, you will:
-
Develop breath management that supports both movement and vocal power
-
Release tension that arises when singing under physical performance demands
-
Build confidence walking into the audition room, ready to perform at your best
-
Learn a movement-integrated warm-up that you can take into any rehearsal or show
This isn’t about quick fixes or cutting corners. It’s about building a voice that can move with you, hold up under choreography, and finally feel like a tool you trust. By the end of the 6 weeks, you’ll leave with the technique, stamina, and confidence to smash those singing callbacks and take your voice to the next level.
Slots are extremely limited, only 4 students per cohort, to ensure individualized attention and real integration of voice and movement.
