what to Expect in A Voice Lesson

At The Voice Collective, every session is tailored to your needs and designed to help you refine and strengthen your voice. Our approach is rooted in vocal function and anatomy, drawing from cutting-edge research and techniques inspired by Western Classical, Musical Theater, and Contemporary pedagogies, and the work of Linklater, Fitzmaurice, and Lessac.

We’ll integrate these techniques into your repertoire, helping you build a solid foundation for sustainable and expressive performances. However, our focus is on vocal technique, and while Cassi and Will can provide piano support for technical work, they’re not professional accompanists.

If you’re looking to work through material with a pianist or prep for auditions, we’d love to refer you to one of our trusted repertoire or vocal coaches.

"I love that William creates such a safe environment. Also, since I’m a dancer William connects each vocal correction I’m given to dance, so I have a better understanding. I’m so thankful to have William as my teacher!"
